• Daddy’s girl

  this past weekend, i witnessed a good friend of mine get married and was able to capture some candids for them.   what i saw was something much deeper than i had anticipated.  i’ve come to the sad realization that someday, i would be the father of the bride and would have to give my daughter away in marriage.  surely, jasmine is only 14 months old now, but when that day comes, i just can’t even imagine the depth of emotion that i’ll feel or how overwhelming it’ll be to walk down that aisle and give my first-born, my girl, my boo, away to another man.  that man better know that with my left arm, i’ll happily give her away.  but with my right, i’ll have my finger ready on my 9mm glock.
