was it a full moon tonight? not sure. but it sure looked cool. it was very far away but very round at the same time. so i busted out my longest lens combo.

canon 1dmk2n (1.3x), canon 300mm f/4, 2.0x teleconverter, bogen tripod.
image quality is worsened by the 2.0 teleconverter attached but it was the only way i could have a decent length to view the moon.

300mm x ~1.3crop x 2.0 = ~790mm view

here’s an old picture of my mom from 1973.  the original picture was pretty messed up.  it was torn, faded and had dirt all over it.  i scanned it in and used photoshop CS2 to clean it up.   compared to the original print, this pic turned out pretty awesome.

things have been crazy hectic.  shot video for two weddings and photo for  one wedding.  on top of that, jasmine has been sick with a flu so it’s been hard working on these projects.

some of you may recall me putting jasmine in the washing machine dryer or in a boiling pot… here’s a couple of tame ones.  i’m working on some really gross ones.   stay tuned with this series.
